Job Description

Position Summary

Test - OPC Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the

    planning, execution, and monitoring of all test activities

    in alignment with operational and production goals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain

    OPC (Operational Process Control) systems

    to ensure process stability, quality assurance, and compliance.
  • Manage a team of

    test engineers, technicians, and process control specialists

    , ensuring training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure all testing procedures adhere to internal quality standards,

    ISO, IATF, or industry-specific requirements

    .
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to define and optimize

    test methods, equipment, and metrics

    .
  • Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, process deviations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support

    root cause analysis (RCA)

    and

    corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

    for test-related issues.
  • Prepare and review test documentation, including test plans, process validation, calibration logs, and reports.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on

    automation, efficiency, and process reliability

    .
  • Ensure compliance with

    safety, environmental, and corporate policies

    .
  • Manage budgets, equipment procurement, and vendor relationships related to test and OPC operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in

    Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    testing methodologies, operational process control, and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Six Sigma)

    .
  • Experience with

    data analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, SPC software)

    and

    manufacturing execution systems (MES)

    .
  • Proven experience managing

    cross-functional teams

    and implementing

    process automation or digital transformation

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree or certification in

    Operations Management, Quality Management, or Project Management (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)

    .
  • Experience in

    semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace

  • Knowledge of

    OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture)

    for industrial data exchange (if applicable).
