Key Responsibilities

QA Ownership Across Customer Projects

• Own

  end-to-end quality assurance

  for multiple

  MES, IoT, and AI-based customer projects

• Act as the

  QA SPOC

  for customer engagements in India and overseas
• Define QA approach, test scope, and release readiness for each project
• Ensure deliverables meet

  contractual, functional, and quality expectations

Manual, Black-Box & White-Box Testing

• Perform

  hands-on Manual Testing

  across:
• Web and mobile UIs
• Backend services
• APIs and integrations
• Execute

  Black-Box Testing

  against functional and business requirements
• Execute

  White-Box Testing

  by:
• Understanding application logic, workflows, and data flows
• Reviewing code-level behavior with development teams
• Write and maintain

  detailed test cases

  ensuring:

• 100% functional and use-case coverage

• Positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios
• Maintain

  requirements test case defect traceability

MES, IoT & Integration Testing

• Validate

  end-to-end MES workflows

  , including:
• Production execution
• Traceability & genealogy
• Quality enforcement
• Material and warehouse processes
• Test

  IoT-based systems

  , including:
• Device data ingestion
• Event-driven processing
• Message queues and asynchronous flows
• Coordinate integration testing with:
• PLCs, tools, scanners (using simulators or customer test environments)
• ERP systems (SAP or other customer ERPs)
• Third-party and external systems

AI/ML Application Testing

• Validate AI/ML-based features for:
• Correctness and consistency of outputs
• Data quality and edge cases
• Regression stability across releases
• Work with data and ML teams to define:
• Test scenarios
• Acceptance criteria
• Accuracy and validation thresholds
• Ensure AI features are

  production-ready and explainable

  for customers

Test Planning, Team Management & UAT

• Build, mentor, and manage the

  QA/testing team

  (manual + automation)
• Define and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Prepare

  test plans, test strategies, and execution schedules

• Lead

  UAT cycles

  , defect triage, and customer sign-offs
• Support releases across

  different geographies and time zones

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years

  of experience in

  Software Testing / Quality Assurance

• 3–5+ years

  of experience as a

  Test Lead / QA Lead

• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Manual Testing
• Black-Box Testing
• White-Box Testing
• Proven ability to

  write test cases covering 100% functional use-cases

• Strong understanding of:
• SDLC and STLC
• Defect management and release processes
• Experience testing:
• Enterprise or industrial applications
• Distributed and event-driven systems
• Hands-on experience with:
• API testing (REST, JSON – Postman / REST Assured)
• Database testing (SQL)
• Ability to

  manage QA delivery across multiple projects and customers

• Comfortable working with

  global customers and offshore–onsite models

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  MES, Manufacturing, or Industrial systems

• Exposure to

  IoT platforms or device-integrated applications

• Knowledge of

  test automation tools

  (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Experience with

  performance testing

• Exposure to

  AI/ML application testing

• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of

  ISA-95

  concepts (optional)
