Test Engineer

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer - L4 at Wipro Limited, your role involves preparing test cases and conducting testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end, ensuring that it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding test requirements, authoring test planning, implementing Wipro's way of testing, and automating the test life cycle process. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product - Author test planning based on business requirements and testable requirements - Implement Wipro's way of testing using Model based testing for efficient test generation - Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control - Set criteria, parameters, scope/out-scope of testing, and involve in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Automate the test life cycle process through VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Design and execute the automation framework and reporting - Develop and automate tests for software validation, including setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases - Ensure test defects raised adhere to project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Detect and report bug issues, file defect reports, and report test progress - Design and release test status dashboard at the end of every cycle test execution - Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risk, and report to stakeholders - Report status and customer focus on an ongoing basis with respect to testing and its execution - Ensure good quality of interaction with customers through e-mail, fault report tracking, voice calls, etc. - Deliver on-time WSRs, Test execution report, and relevant dashboard updates - Update accurate efforts in project-related trackers - Respond timely to customer requests and address complaints internally or externally Qualification Required: - Mandatory Skills: Retail Banking - Experience: 5-8 Years Join Wipro to be part of a modern, end-to-end digital transformation partner with bold ambitions.
