Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of testing processes and will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and analyse business requirements, specifications, and technical documentation
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and enterprise applications
Identify, log, and track defects through bug tracking tools.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Collaborate with developers and product owners to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Maintain and update test documentation as the system evolves
Contribute to QA process improvements and knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing
Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect reporting
Sound knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and QA methodologies
Experience in working with Agile/Scrum teams
Familiarity with test management and tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, etc.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proven experience working on real-time software projects with active collaboration across teams.

Preferred (Good to Have):

Experience in database testing (SQL, data validation)
Exposure to API testing tools.
Basic understanding of automation concepts/tools.
