Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of testing processes and will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyse business requirements, specifications, and technical documentation
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and enterprise applications
• Identify, log, and track defects through bug tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintain and update test documentation as the system evolves
• Contribute to QA process improvements and knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing
• Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect reporting
• Sound knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and QA methodologies
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum teams
• Familiarity with test management and tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, etc.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proven experience working on real-time software projects with active collaboration across teams.

Preferred (Good to Have):

• Experience in database testing (SQL, data validation)
• Exposure to API testing tools.
• Basic understanding of automation concepts/tools.
