Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer at TVS Motor Company's Hosur Plant in Tamil Nadu, India, you will be part of the R&D department focusing on Powertrain - Cylinder Head D&D. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding concepts, evaluating Proof of Concepts (PoCs), shelf concept proving, and introducing applicable New Product Introduction (NPI). Your duties will include functional testing, subsystem test rig design development, low-cost automation, concept proving and benefit evaluation, measurement and sensitivity analysis, as well as subsystem level early failure detection. To excel in this position, you should possess educational qualifications such as DME / BE / Btech (Mech/ Automotive) along with additional qualifications in low-cost automation, rig design, concept fixtures design, and evaluation. With 4-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, you should be well-versed in subsystem test rig design development, functional testing, low-cost automation, proving engineering, MsA, PoC benefit evaluation, and early failure detection. Your functional competency should include understanding the function, functional evaluation, and conceptual and PoC evaluation. Moreover, your behavioral competency should demonstrate rigor in execution, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
