Test Engineer - L1

As a Test Engineer at Wipro Limited, your role involves preparing test cases and performing testing of the product/ platform/ solution to be deployed at a client end to ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding the test requirements, designing test cases, and implementing Wipro's way of testing using Model based testing to achieve an efficient way of test generation. Working closely with the development team, you will identify and capture test cases, ensure version control, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Your responsibilities also include automating the test life cycle process, designing and executing the automation framework, and reporting on software validation tests. Additionally, you will be responsible for detecting bug issues, preparing defect reports, and reporting test progress to stakeholders. - Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product - Author test planning based on business requirements and testable requirements - Implement Wipro's way of testing using Model based testing - Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework - Collaborate with the development team to capture test cases and ensure version control - Define testing criteria, parameters, scope/out-scope, and participate in UAT - Automate the test life cycle process using vb macros, scheduling, and GUI automation - Design and execute the automation framework for software validation - Report test defects with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Prepare test status dashboard at the end of every test cycle - Provide feedback on usability and serviceability - Maintain good quality of interaction with customers - Deliver reports and updates in a timely manner - Respond to customer requests promptly - Proficiency in Health and Welfare (HW) Tech - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Experience in test automation and software validation Reinvent your world with Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting company dedicated to digital transformation.
