Test Engineer - L1

Role Overview: The role involves preparing test cases and conducting testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end to ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be responsible for understanding test requirements, designing test cases, implementing testing using Wipro's methodology, and collaborating with the development team to capture test cases. Additionally, you will be involved in setting criteria for testing, automating the test life cycle process, and reporting test progress to stakeholders. Your role will also include providing feedback on usability, serviceability, and reporting quality risks to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product - Author test planning based on business requirements and testable criteria - Implement Wipro's testing methodology and generate test cases efficiently - Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework - Collaborate with the development team to capture and identify test cases - Set criteria, parameters, and scope of testing, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Automate the test life cycle process using vb macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Design and execute the automation framework and reporting - Develop and automate tests for software validation, including setting up test environments and designing test plans - Report test defects with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Prepare defect reports for bug issues and report test progress - Ensure no instances of rejection or slippage of delivered work items within SLA's - Design and release test status dashboard at the end of each test cycle - Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and trace results to quality risks Qualifications Required: - Experience in Health Batch - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Proficiency in test case design, automation, and reporting - Familiarity with Model-based testing and automation frameworks - Understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance parameters (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
