Test Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our Document cloud Web team. You will be responsible for executing test cases against web applications, reporting defects, verifying fixes, and supporting the configuration and maintenance of Jenkins Jobs/Nodes in our CI/CD environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute black box test cases on web applications using defined test plans and specifications.
• Conduct acceptance, regression, and exploratory testing on new builds and releases.
• Log and manage bugs using defect tracking systems; follow through with engineers to verify resolutions.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and contribute to test plan improvements.
• Maintain and monitor Jenkins Jobs and Nodes to support testing and continuous integration workflows.
• Coordinate with automation, development, and DevOps teams to ensure stable test environments.
• Review test case results, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Document test execution results and contribute to knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain quality metrics and ensure compliance with industry-standard processes

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

• web application testing and integrating in CI/CD environment.
• Experience testing web applications across different browsers and platforms.
• Understanding of test design techniques and defect reporting practices.
• Familiarity with integration, regression, and acceptance testing concepts.
• Basic experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools (e.g., viewing job logs, re-running jobs, monitoring build nodes).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

Preferred:

• Scripting knowledge in JavaScript and/or Python.
• Experience with API testing.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to agile methodologies or scrum environments.
• Relevant certifications in software quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
