Test Automation - Playwright

As an experienced Test Automation Consultant specializing in Playwright, you will play a crucial role in enhancing quality assurance processes through automation. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright. - Collaborating with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects. - Developing test plans and test cases. - Staying updated with the latest Playwright features and best practices. - Ensuring the implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous integration. - Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to team members. - Contributing to the development of testing frameworks and methodologies. - Participating in sprint planning and agile development processes. Key requirements for this role include: - Proven experience as a Playwright Expert (2+) or Software Test Engineer (5+) with a strong focus on automation. - In-depth knowledge of Playwright framework and its capabilities OR expertise in creating/modifying frameworks using Selenium Java. - Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript or TypeScript. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication and documentation skills. - Proficient in test management tools and test automation frameworks. - Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
