Test / Automation Engineer

As a Test/Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining an automation framework for testing the department's systems globally. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing, monitoring, and improving the infrastructure - Developing custom tools and integrating with existing tools to increase engineering productivity - Defining the automation book of work, collaborating with the team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation - Liaising with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the bank, including international locations - Ensuring compliance with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans Desired Expertise: - 8-10 years of experience in a testing role, ideally 3+ years within the finance sector, preferably in Prime Brokerage & Swaps - Proven delivery of functional and Automation testing to assess accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality, and accessibility; and non-functional testing to assess security, reliability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability - Meaningful experience with at least one modern automation framework - Ability to perform regression testing for projects, products, and familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle - Knowledge of at least one modern programming language is a plus - Strong analytical and communication skills The company is looking to fill 5 positions for this role in Pune.
