POSITION OVERVIEW : Test Automation Engineer (TypeScript & Playwright) POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :

Test automation engineer- Play Wright: Number of Positions:1

Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.Manual Testing:

Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools.Execute test cases and evaluate results to ensure the software meets business needs.Automation Testing:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
Select and utilize appropriate test automation frameworks and tools.Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.Reporting and Documentation:

Document test results, generate test reports, and provide feedback to developers.
Ensure clear and precise documentation of issues, defects, and test execution steps.Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile environments.Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with industry trends and tools in software testing.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance software quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:

5 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in testing tools like PlayWright, TypeScript, etc.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure).Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Angular, Python, or C#.Understanding of RESTful APIs and database testing.Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
