Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager – Project Sales to expand Goldmedal's project business across Bangalore and surrounding areas. The candidate will focus on developing business with government departments, commercial establishments, IT/ITES companies, healthcare and educational institutions, contractors, and project consultants while strengthening customer relationships and driving sales growth.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Visit state and central government departments in Bangalore to promote Goldmedal's complete product portfolio and develop project business.
• Develop business across commercial segments, including IT/ITES companies, malls, hospitals, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other large establishments.
• Promote professional lighting, wires and cables, switches, switchgear, fans, and other electrical products based on customer and project requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with government and private contractors, EPC companies, electrical consultants, MEP consultants, and project management consultants to generate business opportunities.
• Identify upcoming commercial and infrastructure projects, develop project pipelines, and work towards securing product specifications and approvals.
• Organise factory visits for key customers to showcase Goldmedal's product range and strengthen customer relationships.
• Onboard and manage project channel partners to expand market coverage and improve business reach.
• Conduct regular customer visits, follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert project leads into orders.
• Coordinate with internal sales and technical teams to ensure appropriate product solutions and timely customer support.
• Track competitor activities, market trends, and project developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain regular reporting on leads, project pipelines, order bookings, and business performance.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B electrical sales or project sales.
• Strong experience handling government, commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects.
• Established relationships with government departments, contractors, consultants, and commercial project customers in Bangalore.
• Good knowledge of electrical products, including wires and cables, professional lighting, switches, switchgear, and fans.
• Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop project opportunities and convert them into business.
• Willingness to travel across Bangalore and surrounding areas.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
