Job Description

Job Summary:

The Territory Sales Executive / Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and strengthening the company’s market presence within the assigned territory. The role involves developing strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, and architects, and ensuring consistent revenue growth for building material products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify, develop, and onboard new dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients (dealers, builders, contractors, and architects).
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to promote the company’s product range.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends, and report insights to management.

2. Market & Channel Management

  • Ensure product availability and visibility across dealer and retail networks.
  • Plan and execute trade promotions, product campaigns, and market activation activities.
  • Monitor dealer performance, stock levels, and credit terms.
  • Support dealers with marketing materials, product training, and after-sales service.

3. Customer Relationship & Support

  • Regularly visit construction sites, meet contractors, consultants, and site engineers to promote products.
  • Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term relationships with key influencers in the construction ecosystem.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and collection reports.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, accounts, and marketing) to ensure smooth order execution and delivery.
  • Participate in review meetings and provide market feedback to improve business strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–8 years of experience in sales of building materials (cement, tiles, paints, waterproofing, steel, pipes, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and dealer/distributor networks.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
