Job Description

The Sales Representative is the leading driver of our customer interactions and sales performance. They are the face of our approach to customer experience and build deep relationships that deliver value for customers and patients to drive sales growth in a consistent and ethical manner.
About the Role
Major Accountabilities
Drive competitive sales growth Identify and prioritize leads through data analysis (healthcare professionals and stakeholders) that influence prescription decisions Increase sales performance by skillfully orchestrating positive customer experiences Engage and build relationships Participate in value-based conversations (in-person and virtually) to understand key customer challenges, decision drivers, pain points, and opportunities Customize and organize customer engagement activities for targeted healthcare professionals to reflect customer preferences, leverage available content, and multiple interaction channels. Build collaborations by partnering with healthcare professionals to develop lasting engagement for Novartis over time Deliver memorable customer-centric experiences that go beyond clinical differentiation by listening to their needs and understanding their healthcare environment Establish effective working relationships with thought leaders and top medical influencers (at territory level) and challenge current behaviors to improve the patient journey (right patient, right time) Develop deep customer insight and understanding Gather insights into the customers business and discover what matters to them Monitor customer feedback and translate responses into actions that create added value and exceed expectations Leverage available data sources to create, dynamically prioritize and adapt relevant territory, account and customer engagement plans Continuously share customer insights with relevant internal stakeholders to support the development of content, campaigns and interaction plans related to products and indications; Delivering value to customers and patients Collaborate coherently with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address unmet customer and patient needs Act as a trusted partner to the customer to help them drive their business; listen to learn; strive to deepen the relationship in a consistent and ethical manner; Position yourself to create value-added solutions. Act with integrity and honesty by treating customers and colleagues transparently and respectfully with clear intentions. Do the right thing when faced with ethical dilemmas and speak up when things dont seem right. Live by the Novartis Code of Ethics, Values and Behaviour.
