Tendering & Procurement Executive

Company: Trafotect System Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur**

Role Summary

Responsible for tender identification, bid preparation, procurement of materials, vendor coordination, cost negotiation, and ensuring timely material support for production and projects. The role requires strong communication skills, field coordination, and occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tendering & Bidding

  • Identify and track relevant tenders from Govt portals, PSUs, and private clients.
  • Study tender documents, BOQs, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with technical, production, and management teams for inputs.
  • Prepare and submit technical bids, commercial bids, compliance sheets, and supporting documents.
  • Upload tenders on e-portals (GeM, eProcure, MAHATenders, etc.).
  • Maintain tender status, follow-ups, and documentation.

2. Procurement

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for electrical/mechanical components and project items.
  • Float enquiries, collect quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and negotiate pricing.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure material delivery on schedule.
  • Maintain vendor database and develop new suppliers.
  • Coordinate with stores, QC, and production for timely material availability.

3. Commercial & Coordination

  • Prepare cost estimations and material costing for tenders.
  • Verify GST applicability, HSN codes, and vendor compliance documents.
  • Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and supplier payments.
  • Maintain procurement records for audit and ISO requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in tendering, procurement, or supply chain.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Presentable personality; confident in client/vendor interactions.
  • Open to travel for vendor visits, site meetings, and tender submissions.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Good knowledge of engineering BOQs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Email, and ERP/Tally systems.

Preferred

  • Experience in electrical, transformer, EPC, or engineering industry.
  • Familiarity with GeM, eProcure, MAHATenders & other tender portals.
  • Understanding of logistics, dispatch & material inspection processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,344.99 - ₹34,567.56 per month
