Tender Manager

Job Description

A Tendering Manager oversees the entire bidding process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning bids. They are responsible for analysing tender documents, preparing and managing bid responses, and ensuring compliance with client requirements. The role also involves managing and leading a tendering team, negotiating terms and conditions, and monitoring the process to report on progress and risks. Key Responsibilities: Identifying and analysing tenders: Researching potential contracts and understanding the requirements outlined in tender documents. Bid preparation and management: Creating well-documented bids, including technical, financial, and project management aspects, while ensuring they are complete and accurate. Team leadership and coordination: Managing and leading the tendering team, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Compliance and quality control: Ensuring all bids adhere to company guidelines and regulations, and that they are professionally presented. Risk assessment and management: Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with each bid. Negotiation and contract review: Reviewing bids, negotiating terms and conditions with clients, and ensuring contracts are compliant. Reporting and monitoring: Tracking the tendering process, providing regular updates to senior management, and reporting on progress and risks. Business development: Contributing to the growth of the company by securing contracts. Building relationships: Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external clients to build strong relationships.
