Job Title: Telecounsellor cum Receptionist

Location: Lakmé Academy – Barasat
Type: Full-time | On-site

About the Role

We are seeking a confident, proactive, and well-spoken individual to join our team as a Telecounsellor cum Receptionist. The role combines front-desk management with telecounselling responsibilities — ensuring a seamless experience for walk-in visitors and potential students enquiring over phone or online.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a pleasing personality, and a strong passion for the beauty and education industry.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Reception Duties

  • Greet and attend to all visitors and walk-ins courteously.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional reception area.
  • Handle student and parent queries in person or over phone.
  • Manage daily attendance and class schedules of students.
  • Coordinate with counsellors and faculty for student follow-ups and appointments.
  • Record and maintain data of enquiries, walk-ins, and leads.

Telecounselling & Follow-Up

  • Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents.
  • Counsel potential candidates about Lakmé Academy courses, fees, and career opportunities.
  • Convert leads generated through marketing campaigns into walk-ins and admissions.
  • Maintain and update enquiry database regularly.
  • Follow up with prospective students until enrollment.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly enquiry and conversion targets.

Administrative Support

  • Handle calls, emails, and messages professionally.
  • Support admission documentation and data entry work.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams for lead reports and events.
  • Maintain basic administrative records and assist in operational support.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Minimum Graduate (any stream).
  • Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with good communication skills can apply).
  • Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication (English, Hindi, and Bengali preferred).
  • Confident in speaking over the phone and face-to-face interaction.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.).
  • Well-groomed with a pleasant personality.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism under pressure.
