Telecom Financial Service Manager

As a Telecom Financial Service Manager (FSM) in the Billing Operations / Financial Services Telecom Accounts department in Bangalore and Gurugram, your primary role is to serve as the key financial intermediary between large telecom clients and internal functions. You will oversee the financial relationship for global integrated telecom deals with high annual revenue and intricate delivery models. Your accountability lies in ensuring accuracy and transparency in all non-technical financial communications related to billing, forecasting, and reporting for telecom services and solutions. Collaborating with internal stakeholders across finance, sales, and delivery teams is crucial, along with engaging directly with customer executives to maintain governance and address financial queries. Your key relationships will involve internal interactions with Telecom Service Managers, Sales, Delivery Teams, Finance, Procurement, and Legal departments. Your major responsibilities will include: - Providing budget forecasting to telecom clients and analyzing actuals vs forecast - Offering financial inputs for P&L reviews and pipeline analysis - Managing complex billing hierarchies and defining billing protocols - Leading pricing reviews and negotiating changes based on service efficiencies - Ensuring accurate formatting of telecom invoices In terms of customer engagement and financial relationship management, you will be involved in governance reviews, financial discussions, billing workshops, and account setup for clients. Tracking and managing purchase orders, generating financial reports, and driving discussions on custom formats will also be part of your responsibilities. You will supervise junior FSMs or financial analysts, support audit and compliance obligations, and collaborate with delivery teams for accurate service mapping in financial documentation. Additional responsibilities may include delivering adhoc financial reports, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and participating in business meetings and knowledge sharing sessions. Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree or above, fluent English proficiency (C1/90%+), and intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite tools. Experience in telecom billing systems, CRM/ticketing tools, and ERP platforms is preferred.
