Job Description

As a Telco Helpdesk L1 (Associate Customer Support) in Brisbane & Melbourne, you will be responsible for troubleshooting network-related issues and assisting customers in understanding, using, and resolving issues related to products and services. You will play a key role in the largest Telecom Network in Australia, providing excellent customer service and support. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and understand their needs. Your role will involve negotiation skills to gain support and agreement for acceptable outcomes, as well as selling products and services that meet customer requirements. Listening skills will be crucial in demonstrating cultural awareness and adapting flexibly across interactions with diverse team members and customers. In this role, you will be required to comply with procedures and support customers in meeting their duties under relevant safety and environmental legislation. You will need to demonstrate a strong sense of ownership of issues/orders presented and manage end-to-end delivery within designated timeframes. Being naturally inquisitive and resilient, you should be able to articulate, listen, and communicate effectively to identify customer needs and provide suitable solutions. This position requires 0-3 years of experience, with shift timings ranging from 7 AM to 11 PM on a rotational basis. The working hours are 38 hours per week, with half an hour break every day, and working days include Monday to Sunday with any 2 consecutive offs depending upon the roster. Additionally, you should possess good analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
