Technology Specialist

As a Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer in the IT Advisory Services team at EY, you will be working on various Guidewire engagements for our customers across the globe. Your responsibilities will include contributing to various technical streams of Guidewire engagements as a team member, interfacing and communicating with onsite coordinators, completing assigned tasks on time, and providing regular status reports to the lead. We are looking for candidates who hold a BE/BTech/MCA degree with 1.5 to 3 years of industry experience. Mandatory skills for this role include proficiency in Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT, Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System, as well as strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic. Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration, particularly within the Insurance domain background, is preferred. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of software development best practices and excellent business communication skills. Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter Configuration and Integration, as well as in the Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty, is desired. Prior client-facing experience would be an advantage in this role.
