Project Role : Technology Platform Engineer Project Role Description : Creates production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools such as a platform for a project or product. Deploys the automation pipeline and automates environment creation and configuration. Must have skills : Red Hat OpenShift Good to have skills : Linux, Kubernetes, Ansible on Microsoft Azure Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating both production and non-production cloud environments utilizing appropriate software tools tailored for specific projects or products. Your typical day will involve deploying automation pipelines and automating the processes of environment creation and configuration, ensuring that all systems are optimized for performance and reliability. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across platforms, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Maintain & Run Management:Perform regular operational activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting and configuration changes. Operations of infrastructure and service stacks in Cloud. System management (upgrading, patching and tuning), compliance, capacity and performance management. Installation and upgrade of third-party products. Maintain and ensure high-availability on server or application level (through clustering or stand-by hosts). Solution DeploymentBuild and manage infrastructure resources, installation of Linux Operating System (Red Hat) on physical and virtual servers, on-prem and in cloud [Azure/GCP] using IaaS, PaaS and other technologies. Customer Support:Deliver exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction level. Security & Vulnerability Management:Ensure compliance by onboarding all devices to respective security tools and, proactively improve stability and performance. Incident Response:Lead the investigation and response to performance or security issues, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Expertise & Development:Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and proactively innovate current approaches and solutions. Focus on automation opportunities. Collaboration:Work closely with other areas to ensure seamless integration on technologies and processes. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift. Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Ansible on Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages. Familiarity with container orchestration and management. 3+ years of experience in System Administration in a highly critical environment. Expertise in Red Hat Linux 8 and 9. (Satellite, installation, system monitoring and maintenance, backup and recovery, tuning and troubleshooting, etc.) Experience with deployment and operation of cloud resources (GCP, Azure) Proficiency in automation of installation and deployment (Red Hat Satellite, Ansible, Terraform ") Experience with containerization and related tools (K8s, ArgoCD, Podman, Open Shift ") Experience in Server Clustering, Monitoring tools, DB administration, Network, Authentication, IP Protocol, Encryption and Active Directory is a plus. Understanding and practical experience of ITIL framework High commitment to delivery; adaptability & flexibility; strong sense of self-responsibility & ownership. Drive to gain expertise on new technologies. Good communication and analytical skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Qualification 15 years full time education
