Technology Operations Analyst - Distributed apps

As a Production Support Specialist at Ameriprise India LLP, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end production support for the Insurance and Annuities Applications Distributed systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring quick resolutions and identifying the root cause of incidents to minimize business impact. Working as part of the Operations team, you will respond to incidents promptly and proactively work towards incident circumvention. Supporting the Batch Operations for Distributed systems, you will be required to work in rotational shifts, including night and evening shifts as necessary. Additionally, you will be expected to recommend performance enhancements for applications and work towards continuous service improvements by streamlining Standard Operating procedures and identifying automation opportunities. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or relevant field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2-4 years of technical expertise in areas such as TWS/Workload schedulers, SQL Server, Operating Systems, JAVA/.NET/XML, Middleware, AWS & ETL is required. Experience with ServiceNow, monitoring tools, Production support, proactive incident management, and Batch monitoring is essential. Familiarity with ITIL framework and involvement in Change, Incident & Problem Management activities is expected. Preferred qualifications include ITIL certification, knowledge of Insurance and Annuities, and experience with Mainframe/Vantage systems. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
