Job Title: Windows / VMware / Nutanix Consultant Datacenter Migration
Experience Required: Minimum 15 Years
Location Mumbai
Skills:
-In-depth knowledge of Windows Server implementation and administration, including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy (GPO), clustering, etc.
-Strong knowledge of P2V/V2V migrations, storage migrations and cross-hypervisor mobility.
-Sound understanding of backup and restore tools, disaster recovery and high availability design.
-Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
-Ability to understand and interpret High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform detailed As-Is infrastructure assessments for Windows, VMware, and Nutanix environments.
-Develop and validate migration strategies, Low-Level Design (LLD) and Proof of Approach (POA) documents for datacenter migration.
-Identify risks & constraints and formulate effective risk mitigation plans.
-Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including SOPs, rollback procedures, migration workflows and checklists.
-Coordinate with customers, project teams, OEMs, senior management, and internal stakeholders throughout the migration lifecycle.
-Provide technical leadership during server migrations, hypervisor transitions and post-migration validations.
-Ensure seamless integration with storage, network and security teams.
-Lead cutover and rollback activities during migration windows as required.
-Ensure compliance with customer security policies, audit requirements, and change management processes.
-Provide regular status updates, maintain clear documentation and report progress to all stakeholders.
