Job Description – Technician Welder (Arc/CO2/Pipeline)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician Welder with expertise in Arc Welding, CO2 Welding, and Pipeline Welding. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on structures and pipelines, ensuring durability, precision, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Arc Welding, CO2 Welding, and Pipeline Welding as per project requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Prepare, cut, and align materials before welding.
• Inspect weld joints for strength, defects, and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Support the fabrication and assembly teams as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Welding / Fabrication or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Arc, CO2, and Pipeline Welding.
• Strong knowledge of welding standards, procedures, and safety practices.
• Ability to work in different positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead).
• Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in pipeline welding or pressure welding (AWS / ASME / ISO 9606).
• Experience in industrial, automotive, or pipeline projects.
• Familiarity with precision tools and quality inspection methods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
