Technician - Transport Planning

As a Technician - Transport Planning at Jacobs, your role will involve working as a Designer / CAD modeler on Transportation projects such as Highways, Aviation, Drainage, and Land Development. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proficiency in AutoCAD with working knowledge in C3D tools - Experience in highway / aviation projects in the Domestic sector - Desirable experience in projects from ANZ/ASIA/Middle East/UK/USA - Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Good communication and IT skills - Self-starter with a focus on developing automation in CAD processes Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma in Civil Draftsman - 3 yrs. Diploma (Civil engineering) or degree preferred Essential criteria for the position: - Several years of experience in engineering and design, preferably in Highways, Aviation, and Drainage - Experience with Highway / Aviation / Drainage CAD layouts - Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM processes - Ability to create accurate technical drawings and schematics - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team - Awareness of a typical Highways design cycle - Adaptability to learn and understand Federal Aviation Regulations Your reporting manager will be the CAD Manager/Lead Engineer.
