As a Technical Director - Highways Design and Drainage at Arcadis, you will be a crucial part of the global team dedicated to delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. Qualifications Required: - Education: Masters degree in Transportation/Highway Engineering. - Experience: Minimum of 20+ years in Infrastructure Design Consulting as of May 31, 2025. - International Exposure: At least 10 years of experience in international multi-disciplinary projects, delivering highway/roadway design and modelling tasks. - UK Standards: Strong knowledge of UK design standards (DMRB, local county council). - Design & Build Projects: Proven experience in Design & Build projects. - Professional Certifications: Chartered or internationally recognized professional status (e.g., CEng, MICE, MIHT, MCIWEM). - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Leadership & Strategy: Strong organizational skills with the ability to contribute to strategic decision-making. - Cultural Awareness: Open-minded, conscientious, and excellent communication skills essential for the role.
