As a Designer/CAD modeler, your primary focus will be on Transportation projects related to Highways, Aviation, Drainage, and Land Development. Your technical skills are key, with proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with C3D tools. Previous experience with highway/aviation projects in the Domestic sector is essential, while exposure to projects in ANZ/ASIA/Middle East/UK/USA is advantageous. Soft skills are equally important, including proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), effective communication, and IT skills. You should be a self-starter with a drive to develop automation in CAD processes. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Domestic sector and familiarity with Global Design Centre operations. You should have previously worked on projects in the UK, US, Canada, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand regions, utilizing various code standards and guidelines. Proficiency in software such as ORD and Civil 3D is essential for design coordination. You will be responsible for mentoring junior staff in design and design software applications. With 8-12+ years of experience in designing roads, streets, highways, and motorways using ORD and Civil 3D software, you should also have experience working on international projects utilizing the GDC platform. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, see the bigger picture of projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines are essential qualities for this role.
