About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Associate, AV Operations Technician, to join our dynamic AV team in Pune. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of audiovisual systems across our facilities. As an AV Operations Technician, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of AV equipment and systems. Your expertise will help facilitate effective communication and collaboration within our organization by ensuring all AV spaces are functional, user-friendly, and up-to-date with the latest technology trends. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where your technical skills will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our corporate operations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in AV technologies, with relevant experience in installing and maintaining AV equipment. A bachelor&aposs degree in audio engineering, video production, computer science, or a related field is typically required. Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with the latest AV hardware, software, and integration techniques is essential, along with a proactive approach to staying current with emerging trends in AV technology.
Responsibilities
- Configure AV equipment including displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, and control systems to meet meeting and event requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues promptly, addressing hardware failures, software glitches, connectivity problems, and user errors to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and room inspections of video conferencing and AV spaces to ensure optimal functioning and user satisfaction.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users, enabling them to operate AV systems effectively and confidently.
- Stay informed about the latest AV technologies and industry trends, recommending upgrades and new solutions to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with AV Events Team and other IT departments to ensure seamless integration of AV systems with existing infrastructure.
- Manage AV system inventory, including tracking equipment usage, scheduling maintenance, and planning replacements to optimize resource allocation.
