Technical Team Leader - Electrical

Responsible for Electrical System Design and Engineering, covering MCC panels, PLC/DDC panels, Instrumentation, and all associated electrical installations for HVAC and process cooling systems. Key responsibilities include project basic and detailed engineering, technical coordination from initial stage to commissioning, basic design and specification of electrical & PLC/DDC panels and ancillary systems, sizing calculations, cabling, earthing, and ensuring compliance with tender/customer requirements and latest technical standards. The role also involves reviewing and approving vendor quotations, issuing manufacturing clearances, conducting inspections for MCC/PDB/PLC/DDC panels before dispatch, and defining instrument specifications with system integration and logic requirements. The incumbent will guide and train two engineers for technical improvement, participate in process improvement, and contribute to standardization initiatives.

Experience:

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience in HVAC or related project work/commissioning preferred.

Technically competent to handle projects independently and guide other engineers.

Excellent understanding of deliverables and performance parameters.

Proficient in specifying and understanding electrical system documentation.

Strong knowledge of site installation requirements, preferably with HVAC background.

In-depth expertise in MCC, PCC, PLC/DDC systems, operational logic, commissioning, and performance validation.

Proficiency in electrical technical standards and good engineering practices.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Awareness of costing principles and ability to optimize design.
