Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to technical support tickets and queries via email, phone, or chat.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL databases (queries, performance, errors).
Provide support for Linux-based systems including logs, services, and permissions.
Monitor system performance and assist with root cause analysis for recurring problems.
Escalate complex issues to the engineering team with detailed analysis and documentation.
Maintain support documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Development teams to resolve customer issues.
Follow SLAs and ensure timely resolution and communication with clients.

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have Skills:

Strong proficiency in SQL
(writing queries, joins, data analysis, performance tuning).
Hands-on experience with Linux
(command-line usage, shell scripting, troubleshooting).
Good understanding of logs, services, cron jobs, user permissions in Linux.
Familiarity with support tools like Jira, Zendesk, or similar.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
