Technical Specialist-Monitoring & L1 Technical Support

As a member of the team, your primary responsibility will be collaborating and escalating issues as needed. You will provide valuable feedback to the Monitoring Tools team for enhancements to the tools. Additionally, you will work closely with L2/L3 teams to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and drive shift-left initiatives. In this role, you will also be involved in supporting end-user computing and troubleshooting remote desktop issues when necessary. To be successful in this position, you should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MTA, or Linux Essentials would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring or technical support roles. Exposure to monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Grafana, Nagios, or similar platforms is highly desirable. A fundamental understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems and network basics is also required. Key skills for this role include strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities, effective communication, and proficient documentation skills.
