Technical Sap Abap Lead

Experience required:

Should have good experience across all key areas of SAP ABAP with a minimum of 10+ years in Support and rollout. Experience in integrations with third party applications through CPI is must.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms based on functional requirements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and provide technical expertise during solution design.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to ensure their accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
• Implement and enhance SAP functionality using ABAP programming techniques, including user exits, BAPIs, BDC, BADI, and enhancement spots.
• Good experience in handing integrations with CPI.
• Develop and modify SAP smart forms and Adobe Forms for various business processes.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs to improve system performance and responsiveness.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing ABAP programs and resolve any issues or defects reported by end-users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP systems with external applications and third-party systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and trends and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and functionality.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices while delivering high-quality ABAP solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including experience with at least two full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
• Minimum one end to end development should be done.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and development tools, including ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, ABAP, and SAP Fiori.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PS) and their integration points with ABAP development.
• Extensive experience in developing and enhancing SAP reports (ALV Reports), interfaces (ALE/IDoc), and forms (Smart Forms & Adobe Forms).
• Proficient in SAP enhancement techniques such as user exits, BAPIs, BADI, and enhancement spots.
• Solid understanding of SAP data dictionary objects, including tables, views, structures, and data elements.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques to improve the performance of ABAP programs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
