Job Description

As a Technical Sales Engineer at Virtuozzo, your primary focus will be on driving new business opportunities by taking ownership of net-new prospects and partners. Your success in this role will be measured by acquiring new customers and revenue growth, showcasing strong technical expertise to build credibility throughout the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities: - Drive new customer sales by leading technical and commercial engagement for net-new opportunities, from discovery to closure. - Provide technical support to channel partners to enable them to confidently present, demonstrate, and deliver Virtuozzo solutions independently. - Act as a trusted advisor to partners and prospects, building confidence through hands-on demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical workshops. Technical Responsibilities: - Deploy and manage standard Proof of Concept (PoC) environments or trial tenants using reusable templates or shared infrastructure. - Develop and maintain reusable demo scenarios, automation scripts, and configuration blueprints for common use cases such as HA scenarios, Kubernetes clusters, and S3 setups. - Conduct customer-facing demos, PoCs, and technical discovery sessions with minimal reliance on Engineering or Professional Services (PS). - Perform structured technical qualification for opportunities before involving Engineering or PS. - Manage internal demo and PoC environments, including VM templates, cloud instances, and diagnostic tools. - Create enablement materials for Sales and Partners, such as quick start guides, demo flows, and FAQs. - Deliver internal technical training and workshops on product capabilities and standard configurations. - Document repeatable deployment patterns, known issues, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing. - Collaborate closely with Product Management to provide market-driven feedback on features, enhancements, and competitive requirements. You will be responsible for winning new clients, empowering the partner ecosystem, closing deals, and directly influencing the product roadmap.
