Technical Publication Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain

  technical documents

  such as user manuals, installation guides, service manuals, and illustrated parts catalogs in compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize

  IsoDraw CADprocess

  and

  SolidWorks Composer

  for generating high-quality 2D/3D technical illustrations from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Interpret complex

  3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings

  for visual and written documentation.
• Create vector-based illustrations and graphic content using

  Adobe Illustrator

  .
• Author and format documentation using tools such as

  Adobe InDesign

  and

  Adobe FrameMaker

  (mandatory).
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product design, and manufacturing teams to obtain accurate product information.
• Apply Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to update or revise documentation and parts manuals as needed.
• Maintain consistency in documentation language, structure, and formatting across all deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery of content for product releases and customer documentation packages.
• Follow internal documentation processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of proven experience

  in technical publication or technical documentation roles.
• Proficiency in

  IsoDraw CADprocess

  and

  SolidWorks Composer

  for creating technical illustrations.
• Strong working knowledge of

  Adobe Illustrator

  ,

  Adobe InDesign

  , and

  Adobe FrameMaker

  .
• Hands-on experience working with

  3D CAD models

  (preferably in SolidWorks or any equivalent CAD software).
• Understanding of

  engineering drawings

  , BOMs, and 3D visualization techniques.
• Strong

  communication skills

  with the ability to interpret and articulate complex technical information.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with

  ECO implementation

  in parts manuals will be considered an added advantage.

• Experience in domains such as
