Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager, your role will involve leading end-to-end data projects, specifically focusing on data migration and application projects in hyperscale cloud environments. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing the execution of data migration and application migration projects to hyperscale cloud platforms. - Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity. - Managing cross-functional teams comprising data engineers, architects, and cloud specialists to achieve project objectives. - Driving project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. - Ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders from technical and business teams to ensure project success. - Ensuring successful migration of data and systems with minimal disruption. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience in managing technical projects related to Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Data Engineering. - Hands-on experience in leading projects involving data and application migration to hyperscale cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong knowledge of ETL process design, development, and execution. - Solid understanding of cloud technologies and data migration strategies. - Demonstrated ability to lead multifunctional teams and manage stakeholder expectations. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills. - Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have: - Certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). - Experience with specific cloud data services such as AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery. - Knowledge of DevOps, automation, and cloud infrastructure management. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as orchestration. - Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. - Previous involvement in large-scale enterprise data migration projects. - Advanced degrees or technical certifications in cloud or data domains.
