Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong

background in managing Data Science and Data Engineering projects
The ideal

candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven

track record of delivering complex, data-driven initiatives
You will work closely with

cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, data engineers, and

business stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end project management for data science and data analytics

initiatives

Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Product teams to define

scope, timelines, and resource needs

Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and communication

strategies

Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within

scope

Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and reporting

Remove roadblocks, manage dependencies, and escalate issues as necessary

Maintain strong relationships with both technical and non-technical team

members

Drive Agile or hybrid project methodologies as appropriate

Ensure quality control and data governance best practices throughout the

project lifecycle

Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to junior team members when needed

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data

Science, or a related field

10+ years of total professional experience in technology or data-focused roles

6+ years of hands-on experience managing Data Science, Data Engineering, or

Advanced Analytics projects

Strong understanding of data pipelines, machine learning workflows, and

modern cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP)

Familiarity with tools and technologies used in the Data Science ecosystem

(eg, Python, SQL, Spark, Jupyter, ML frameworks)

Excellent project management skills including planning, execution, budgeting,

and risk management

Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

Proven ability to manage people and drive team performance in a collaborative

environment

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus

Experience working in a product-based or fast-paced startup environment

Prior experience working with international teams or stakeholders
