Technical Program Manager, Forms of Payment, Payments Platform

Role Overview: As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will utilize your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with stakeholders to plan requirements, assess risks, manage project timelines, and effectively communicate with cross-functional partners throughout the organization. You should be proficient in articulating your team's analyses and recommendations to executives, as well as engaging in discussions regarding technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and manage cross-functional/technical projects, ensuring successful launch by driving team discussions, resolving issues, and implementing risk mitigations. - Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Cross-functional Partners to define requirements, scope, schedule, resource allocation, and milestones. - Maintain relationships with critical internal and external stakeholders, such as third-party vendors and regulators, to ensure project success. - Provide project status updates to various audiences, including cross-functional teams and executives. Identify, develop, and implement process enhancements to support team scalability. - Demonstrate technical comprehension and thought leadership to enhance project efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management, with a focus on technical program management, stakeholder management, and risk assessments. - Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, along with experience in managing software development projects.,
