We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist Key Responsibilities: The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for the day-to-day management of a product. They work with stakeholders to gather and prioritise customer needs, and they create and manage the product backlog. The PO also works with cross-functional teams to define a vision and deliver prioritized products that meet the needs of users and achieve the business goals. Collaborate with other infrastructure, engineering, application and support teams. Maintain the requirements to development cycle on a consistent pace. Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and deliver for improvement. Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and data engineering. Conduct user research, analyse user data, market trends, building a holistic understanding of the landscape and the challenges customers face. Provide L3 technical support and escalation of production automation and infrastructure issues, incidents, data management and exception handling. Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered. Ensure compliance with all relevant controls and standards. Work across multiple environments with scripts, programming languages, DevOps tools and restful web APIs. Take the role of Product Owner in technical project deliverables and be responsible for end-to-end solution implementation. Drive the creation of technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality. Enable SRE culture through solving problems with data engineering. Reviewing, designing and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve performance. Designing and driving the implementation of service offerings, capability uplifts and process improvements. Writing documentation and standard operating procedure when required. Requirements Qualifications External To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Bachelor s degree in computer science engineering or related field with a minimum of 12 years of work experience. Understand Windows infrastructure including hardware, virtualisation, cloud and storage. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and scripting for data management, feeds and exception handling tasks. Basic proficiency in PowerShell scripting. Knowledge of .NET and/or python would be advantageous. Experience of source code management (GitHub / Bit Bucket) is essential. Experience with DevOps tools, orchestration and configuration management (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / Ansible / SCCM / DCM). Familiar with IIS and Azure Web services, including publishing web applications, managing certificates, and configuring authentication. Experience with Databases such as MS-SQL server. Querying databases with SQL. Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or other agile frameworks is beneficial. Work with Agile methodology, representing the Pod and Area lead in standups and problem-solving meetings.
