As a Technical Officer-Instrumentation at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Principal Senior Technical Officer by managing the instrumentation team effectively. This includes tasks such as delegating responsibilities, monitoring progress, and ensuring the team achieves its goals. Your responsibilities will also involve maintaining the quality control of instruments by ensuring proper calibration and maintenance procedures are in place to guarantee accurate and reliable results. Coordinating with the technical team for general maintenance and repair works of common instruments in the laboratories will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting and maintaining accurate records of instrument maintenance, repairs, and calibrations to facilitate effective utilization. In the absence of the Principal Senior Technical Officer, you will be required to deputize to ensure the smooth operation of the team and facility. To qualify for this position, you should hold an M.Tech./M.Sc. degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in instrument maintenance, procurement, and repair is essential. You should possess in-depth knowledge of instrumentation and maintenance procedures, as well as familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
