Job Description

We are looking for

Techno-Commercial Manager in Food Equipment

To lead the commercial expansion and technical support of NSF's HCV IN program in India, driving adoption among food equipment manufacturers and foodservice stakeholders while ensuring compliance with hygienic design and HACCP principles.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Technical Advisory & Support
  • Provide expert guidance on hygienic design, HACCP compliance, and NSF standards.
  • Develop guideline documents and standard operating procedures that support the HCV-IN program.
  • Develop technical interpretations to ensure products and materials are reviewed consistently and appropriately to the HCV-IN Guideline.
  • Support clients through the registration process by conducting including documentation, testing, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with NSF's global technical teams to ensure smooth execution of verification services.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth for the HCV IN program through direct sales and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify and convert leads among food equipment manufacturers, QSR chains, hospitality groups, and institutional buyers.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline using Salesforce tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Work with marketing team to promote the HCV IN mark as a differentiator in the Indian food equipment market.
  • Organize and participate in industry events, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Develop marketing materials and case studies showcasing successful HCV IN implementations.

Regulatory & Standards Alignment

  • Stay updated on BIS, FSSAI, and international standards relevant to food equipment.
  • Ensure HCV IN services align with Indian regulatory requirements and global best practices.

Reporting & Insights

  • Provide monthly sales and activity reports to leadership.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's in mechanical engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
  • 10-12+ years of experience in food equipment manufacturing, compliance, or certification.
  • Proven track record in technical sales or business development.
  • Strong understanding of Commercial Food Equipment, HACCP, hygienic design, and food safety standards.
  • Experience working with BIS, FSSAI, or NSF certifications is a plus.
