Job Description: Aero derivative Packaged Mechanical Engineering: Aviation gas turbine used for power generation. We are looking for 15+ years of experience who has plant experience handled skid packages. Must have history of working with global team and managed global projects, Handled/assisted a team of minimum 20+ engineers technically. The power output of different packages ranges from 20MW to 100MW power output. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop healthy relationships with customers. Drive the weekly, monthly & Quarterly meetings with customer. Responsible for the team deliverables (OTD & Quality (FPY)) Critical & Crucial projects be in ground and perform the reviews of the deliverables. Identify the team capability gaps and work on the improvement actions. Make sure all the deliverables are reviewed, and the errors are captured appropriately. Perform RCA on the Errors identified during the technical review, work to close those gaps. Understand the customer requirements and onboard the right talents to deliver the project whenever required. Weekly connect with the SAG leader to review the team Productivity and the delivery milestones. Drive continual improvement initiatives. Develop standards and procedures enhance the checklist based on the need. Drive standup meeting to monitor the efficiency of the team. Work Experience Experience in Plant accessories /Balance of Plant engineering for Combined Cycle or Single cycle power plants. Managed or lead New Product Introduction / New Product Design Knowledge of Gas Turbines / Generators accessories. Experience in skid packages Knowledge of Accessories systems such as Fuel systems, Water wash systems, Lubrication systems, purge system, engine start system/hydraulic system, Inlet & Exhaust, Ventilation & fire protection system. Experience in reading and developing Schematics (P&IDs), Skids, Piping /Tubing, General Arrangements, Structural drawings, and Specifications. Experience in pumps, control valves, water chemistry, sampling & dosing, generator accessories. Experience in Piping design, pipe selection, pipe sizing, pressure drop calculations etc.(ANSI/ASME/ISO) Experience in working with Fabrication of sheet metal components with knowledge of welding standards like AWS. Good knowledge of GD&T, Manufacturing / Assembly requirements. Experience in driving design reviews for new product development with Cross Functional teams. Knowledge of Engineering Change Management process (ECR/ECO) for Releasing Drawing/BOM Knowledge of Product life cycle Management Excellent communication skills working with the engineering managers and executives. Creative and smart experience working with MS products
