Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of the Data Center Business Unit at Cisco, where the focus is on driving innovation in networking technologies, specifically in developing groundbreaking Ethernet Switching products for modern network infrastructures. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of core Ethernet Technologies and work on crafting and developing Ethernet Switching solutions for both Public and Private cloud infrastructure. Additionally, you will work on the infrastructure that enables Nexus switches and participate in various stages of the software development cycle. Key Responsibilities: - Design and Develop System Software for Ethernet Switch Products - Develop SDK for next-generation feature-rich network ASIC - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Hardware/ASIC/Marketing/Testing groups to bring developed products to market - Interact and Innovate with Distinguished and Principal engineers focusing on Scale, Performance, and Reliability Qualification Required: - BSEE/CS combined with 12-22 years of related experience - Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with network programming and protocols - Strong working knowledge of Networking Technologies like 2/L3/VXLAN/MPLS/ACL/QOS - Proven understanding of Operating Systems and Distributed Systems - Hands-on Experience in Switch/Router Software Development Additional Company Details: Cisco is dedicated to building innovative technology to power a more inclusive, digital future for everyone.
