Role & responsibilities

MTL is envisaging 3x Growth in the next 4 to 5 years and hence the IS & IT strategy and roadmap is being laid to enable the business in digital platforms and Industry 4.0. A significant amount of Manjushree Technopack Limiteds rapid growth has been delivered by acquisition and subsequent organic growth in markets with strong underlying fundamentals.  The approach has left MTL organisation with a broad, non-standard and unsecured range of IS & IT platforms. As well bringing operating cost inefficiencies, this approach has obscured the availability of information across organisation.

• Requirement gathering and documentation for new system development or customization of existing system; Creation of business process maps and use cases

• Good understanding of SDLC and solution delivery methodologies.

• Proficiency in Web Application Development and Web Applications

• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Experience in Software Development

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Experience with industry-standard development tools and platforms

• Developing a high-level solution design which supports a robust technology solution, considering the user requirements, technical requirements, performance considerations, data architecture, etc.

• Programming and Development experience in Python, Hadoop,C/C++ Strong knowledge in OOPS concept Hands-on experience with Linux Posix API, Linux based multi-threaded application and IPC based application programming

• Experience in web service integration, APIs, mobile based apps and toolkits etc.

• Participate in all necessary steps during system development life cycle to ensure business & functional requirements are met. Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives.

• Engage in data migration activities; Prepare and review the QA and UAT test scripts. Manage UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign off

• Change and Release Management & Basic knowledge of infrastructure.
