Role Overview: As a Software Developer, your primary responsibility will be to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will develop new features and enhance existing Calypso configurations to support business functions effectively. Additionally, you will identify performance bottlenecks within Calypso applications and optimize them to enhance efficiency and responsiveness. It is crucial to work closely with production support teams during releases and issue management to ensure stability. You will investigate and resolve escalated issues from the production support team and collaborate with support teams to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions. Adhering to and promoting best practices in version control, continuous integration, and release management is essential. Ensuring consistent documentation of design, configuration, support procedures, user manuals, and operational guidelines is also part of your role. Overseeing development to ensure code is thoroughly covered by unit tests and guaranteeing rigorous testing of all changes before deployment to QA or UAT environments are key aspects of your responsibilities. You will coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to align on project deliverables. Leading technical discussions and providing mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment is another crucial aspect of your role. You may also be assigned other tasks related to projects as directed by the manager. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. - 7-10 years of experience in software development in the banking/finance sector. - Strong development skills in Java 8 or later. - Hands-on experience with J2EE servers such as JBoss and good understanding of Java memory optimization. - Familiarity with the Spring framework and web-based application development. - Strong hands-on experience in writing complex queries and optimizing queries for performance. - Familiarity with scripting in Linux and Windows. - Working knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks and best practices. - Very strong attention to details and ability to work independently. - Good communication skills in English.,
