Technical Lead

The Tech Lead (Java) role in Singapore requires a deep understanding of technology, particularly in architecting Java-based solutions to address common customer business challenges. As a Tech Lead, you will engage in high-level discussions with technology decision makers regarding agility, business value, and Java-related solutions. You will play a crucial role in leading a team of consultants and partner staff to deliver large, complex, and strategic projects for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead a delivery team of 2-5 members in project implementation, offering technical guidance, participating in code development, resolving architecture and design issues, ensuring system quality and maintainability, and managing technical risks. 2. Conduct information gathering sessions to validate business cases, document business and functional objectives, and ensure alignment with project goals. 3. Implement architecture through component building, custom designs, prototyping, data migration, maintaining technical integrity, and documenting systems. 4. Validate system performance by creating and executing test scripts and addressing any identified issues. 5. Review the work of other developers, providing constructive feedback for improvement as needed. 6. Enhance team effectiveness by identifying opportunities to apply solutions to other projects, planning solution delivery, answering technical questions, teaching best practices, and mentoring team members. 7. Stay updated on emerging technologies, evaluate their relevance to business objectives, and operational requirements. 8. Contribute to operational, integration, or application architecture requirements, design, implementation, and ongoing operations. Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience. - 4-6 years of experience with expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Angular JS, Tomcat. - Previous experience leading a team of 4-5 developers. - Strong technical skills in Java/JEE for designing, developing, and maintaining application systems. - Knowledge of Microservices patterns, Restful APIs, integration patterns, n-tier application architectures, service-oriented architectures, XML, Newgen BPM & Content management solutions. - Experience with cloud infrastructure deployments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), automated testing (Junit, Selenium), CI/CD, DevOps/DevSecOps. - Enthusiastic about learning and exploring new technologies. - Familiarity with COTS product, low code platform development, excellent communication, analytical, and conceptual skills.,
