Job Description

As a Mechanical & Structural Engineer at Siemens Energy's EAD (Electrification, Automation and Digital), your primary role is to manage and lead the design, engineering, product development, and analysis activities for the mixing skids and ehouse offering. You will be deeply engaged with both external and internal stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough reviews of customer specifications and designs for Ehouse projects to optimize performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards. - Prepare comprehensive technical documents for RFQ processes, including specifications, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and other necessary documentation. - Evaluate supplier offers based on compliance with project requirements and collaborate with procurement teams for alignment with project goals. - Assess the engineering and manufacturing capabilities of suppliers to ensure they meet project requirements and quality standards. - Review Ehouse drawings and perform structural analysis to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with safety and regulatory standards. - Conduct stage-wise inspections and witness FAT to validate performance criteria before delivery. - Develop and implement standardization processes for Ehouse specifications to enhance efficiency and consistency across projects. - Provide technical leadership in design optimization, gas mixing skid systems, and eHouse solutions tailored to client specifications and industry standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gas mixing skids and eHouse systems while staying updated on technological advancements and industry trends. Relevant Work Experience: - 15+ years of work experience in Mechanical & Structural Engineering with exposure to E house & Mixing Skids Education: - Engineering Degree or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Skills: - Fluent in written and spoken English, very good German skills are an advantage - Strategic change agent with analytical thinking and ability to work in a team - Profound intercultural understanding and experience with project management tools and methodologies - Familiarity with industry-specific software, technologies, and knowledge of industry standards and regulations - Leadership experience in handling multidisciplinary teams Siemens Energy is a global energy technology company dedicated to meeting the growing energy demand while protecting the climate.
