Technical Support Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support via Inbound phone calls, Email support, web-based support tickets.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to - Linux systems, Network configurations, MySQL databases, BASH scripting, Sendmail and email infrastructure
Manage and update customer support tickets in a timely and accurate manner
Escalate issues appropriately according to severity and service-level agreements
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve high-priority issues
Maintain and contribute to the Knowledge Management System (KMS)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in
Linux system administration
Solid understanding of
networking fundamentals
(TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, etc.)
Experience with
MySQL
database troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with
BASH scripting
Working knowledge of
Sendmail
or similar mail transfer agents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
