As a Technical Editor in the Operations department at Content Whale, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the content produced. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating & supervising a team of freelance writers and editors. - Conducting research on topics related to the field and client requirements to submit the latest statistics and data. - Reviewing and editing article drafts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and scientific accuracy. - Ensuring that all published content meets the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and scientific rigor. - Managing a busy workload according to deadlines. - Writing long-form/short-form content pieces when needed. - Optimizing pieces using SEO guidelines. - Managing the editorial calendar and ensuring timely submission. - Ensuring that content meets the company & client's needs and follows our in-house style guide. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors/Masters in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Writing, content editing, and proofreading experience. - Excellent command over spoken and written English. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Word, Google Documents & Sheets. - Clarity in thought and a problem-solving attitude. - Team player with aspirations to be a leader.
