Technical Drawings Draftsman Interior

We at ITP Ltd are looking for a Technical Drawings Draftsman to work with our team of designers and convert 3D modular designs into technical plans suitable for Production.

Technical Drawings Draftsman responsibilities include gathering drawings and specifications from interior designers, calculating material requirements and setting up production standard drawings. We require you to have hands-on experience with CAD software and are familiar with modular production and installation processes.

Ultimately, youll help us build functional, secure and well-designed modular products that meet our client needs.

Role & responsibilities

- Liaise with our team of Interior Designers to gather product and hardware requirements and designs.

- Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials according to the designs.

- Create detailed designs with (CAD) software

- Review/Validate CAD drawings on site along with the production and installation team.

- Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.

- Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.

- Create manuals that describe existing modular products operation, features and standards.

- Know how to prepare and review a Cutting List suitable for modular production.

Preferred candidate profile

* BSc in Engineering, Architecture or degree from a technical college.

* A minimum of 5 years experience in a Technical Drawings Draftsman position.

* In-depth knowledge in modular standards and Hardware used in projects.

And to add to this, if they are familiar with any production softwares like Infurnia, Naadi, Palette CAD, etc apart from the regular design softwares like sketch up and CAD only then would it work for us as this role is solely a technical role
