Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Director to lead R&D, product development, quality, regulatory, and EHS functions for our industrial chemicals business in India. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving innovation, new product development, and commercialization while managing high-performing technical teams and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

. Lead R&D and product development initiatives aligned with market and customer needs

. Drive innovation, new product development, and concept-to-commercialization projects

. Manage and develop teams of chemists, people leaders, quality, and research professionals

. Oversee product testing, validation, benchmarking, and quality assurance

. Ensure compliance with regulatory, EHS, and safety standards

. Partner with marketing, operations, and leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives

. Engage with customers to deliver differentiated, value-based technical solutions

Desired Profile

. M. Tech (Polymer Science) / M.Sc / PhD in Chemistry

. 15+ years of experience in chemical, polymer, or industrial manufacturing industries

. Strong background in R&D, innovation, and product development

. Proven leadership experience managing senior technical teams

. Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and communication skills

. Experience with regulatory compliance, EHS, and quality systems
