About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Databricks Trainer

to deliver high-quality training sessions to professionals and enterprise clients in Australia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and data engineering/data science workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual training programs on Databricks, Spark, and related technologies.
• Customise course content to suit client-specific needs and industry use cases.
• Conduct workshops, hands-on labs, and Q&A sessions.
• Support learners in building foundational and advanced data engineering and data science knowledge using Databricks.
• Stay updated with the latest Databricks releases, features, and best practices.
• Provide feedback to the curriculum development team to enhance course content.
• Support pre-sales efforts by conducting demo sessions or webinars when required.
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator in data analytics, engineering, or cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering, SQL, Python, and big data tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in delivering technical training to adult learners or corporate clients.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Databricks or Spark certification (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate).
• Experience in teaching or mentoring in a technical environment.
• Ability to create training materials and lab exercises.
  

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree is Mandatory

Experience

Deliver Databricks official trainings as official trainer after becoming authorized trainer Gen AI, Data Engineering, Apache Spark, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning.There will 4 hours/day and 8 hours/day training requests so please check that trainer should be willing to deliver both 4 and 8 hours/day.Shifts: Open to deliver in Singapore, India, and EST timezone
